Mesh Radios allow you to route data through multiple access points spread across a large area. Mesh radios are connected through a dispersed network of nodes that “talk” to each other to share the network connection across a large, vast area. Applications include mobile fleets that “speak” to each other or outdoor WiFi in static environments where failover is desired. One limitation of mesh is; capacity is reduced the deeper in the network your link, i.e., the greater number of hops the worse the performance. To overcome this limitation, design is key.
KNS deploys and maintains mesh networks around the world. Experienced engineers at KNS design reliable, outdoor systems by strategically mapping a location to design a network that can work seamlessly with the topography in a given area to provide reliable/predictable communications.
